Call for Applications: Doctoral Research in Skills and Capacity for the Energy Transition in Africa

The Brew-Hammond Energy Centre, KNUST, in collaboration with the African Institute for Sustainable Energy and Systems Analysis (AISESA), invites applications from qualified candidates to pursue doctoral research focused on Skills and Capacity Requirements for the energy transition in Africa.

Who Can Apply:

  • Ghanaian MPhil graduates from KNUST or any recognized university in relevant fields (Development Studies, Political Science, Sociology, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, etc.)
  • Early-career researchers (≤30 years)
  • Women are strongly encouraged to apply

Programme Highlights:

  • Location: The Brew-Hammond Energy Centre, KNUST
  • Duration: Up to 3 years
  • Funding: Covers tuition, research costs, monthly stipend, and conference travel
