On 16th May 2024, The Brew-Hammond Energy Centre was pleased to receive the leadership of the Suame Technical Institute (STI) at its offices. The team from STI comprised Mr. Nurudeen Ansomah (The Principal of the Institute) and Mr. Daniel Yaw Aidoo (Counsellor and Industry Liaison Officer). Discussions focused on supporting STI to implement solar PV training programmes and integrate same into their curriculum. The Director of the Centre, Ing. Dr. David A. Quansah highlighted the centre's contribution to Ghana's energy sector and expressed readiness to support. The Centre has been running short-term training programmes in renewable energy technologies for the past 15 years and has trained over 500 personnel from more than 22 countries across the African continent.
