On April 15, 2024, a delegation from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone, under the leadership of Professor Kelleh Mansaray, Deputy Vice Chancellor of the college, paid a working visit to The Brew-Hammond Energy Centre. The purpose of their visit was to initiate discussions regarding a collaborative partnership between Fourah Bay College and The Brew-Hammond Energy Centre.

They were received by the Director of the Centre, Dr David Ato Quansah. Dr Quansah briefed them on the activities at the Centre and welcomed opportunities for collaboration between the Centre and the relevant units within Fourah Bay College. He informed the visiting delegation that the Centre was founded some 15 years ago by KNUST to pursue multidisciplinary research, capacity building and provision of advisory services to address energy sector challenges in Ghana and Africa.

The team expressed their appreciation for the warm reception and looked forward to collaboration between the two institutions.
