Market Entry into Renewable Energy (RE) and Energy Efficiency (EE) for the Productive Sector in Ghana

Background

The Brew-Hammond Energy Centre, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Energy Service Centre of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI-ESC) to provide training courses in renewable energy to its technical personnel under the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur International Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) bilateral ‘Market Entry into Renewable Energy (RE) and Energy Efficiency (EE) for the Productive Sector in Ghana’ project.

The project has kicked-off and a project inception meeting and Training of trainers’ workshop took place in August 2020.

The training of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Service providers also took place in Accra in September, 2020.

Funding

This project has provided funding support to AGI-ESC through the German GFA Consulting Consortium (GFA) which will be used to carry out the training.
