This project is a 3-year project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation. The project seeks to advance energy system modelling methods and knowledge transfer for sustainable and resilient urban energy planning with a special focus on developing countries. Knowledge transfer, especially to member of cities of translational municipal networks, by sharing all models, data, methods and findings on open-source, web-based platforms through workshops.

Expected Outcomes:  It is expected that this work can provide meaningful energy modelling approaches and vital decision support for long-term sustainable and resilient urban energy strategies in developing countries.
