The Energy Center (TEC), KNUST, with support from the World Bank's Solar Capacity Upgrade Project is organizing its next series of short courses for the remaining part of 2012 and some part of 2013. These courses are part of on-going efforts to build capacity within the West African sub-region for renewable energy project development and implementation.
The Energy Center (TEC) of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Kumasi, Ghana, has been running short training programmes in renewable energy technology and energy policy over the years, with the support of its partners.
TEC is partnering with the International Institute of Water and Environmental Engineering (l'Institut International d'Ingénierie de l'Eau et de l'Environnement - 2iE) and ECOWAS Regional Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREE) to deliver the short courses to interested participants from practising engineers and technicians to students, NGOs, etc. who want to position themselves and upgrade themselves for the future
The upcoming training sessions are supported by the SOLAR Capacity upgrade Project from the World Bank, and are scheduled as outlined in the table below.
There is a 25% discount for the first 10 subscribers to each course. Female applicants are eligible for 25% discount and further support depending on need. The fee indicated includes course manuals, snacks & lunch.
