The Energy Center, KNUST through its partnership with the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) and technical support from Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) sponsored Mr. Jim K. M. Mensah and Mr. Daniel A. Anang both at the Department of Chemical Engineering, KNUST, to participate in the ‘Biogas 24’ conference which took place at the Fair and Convention Centre, Bremen Germany from the 27th – 30th of January, 2015.
The main topics for the conference covered the aspects of: The future of biogas, Improvement of biogas system concepts, Digestate as fertilizer, International new biogas markets and Best practise among others. The climax of the event was an Industrial tour to some selected Biogas plants which event took place on the 30th of January, 2015.
