Hurray! TBHEC is 10 years. Hurray!

The Brew-Hammond Energy Centre (TBHEC) was established in 2009 by the late Professor Abeeku Brew-Hammond and it is situated within the College of Engineering, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST. TBHEC which is a novel institution has over the years allowed researchers from different disciplines within and outside KNUST to work on energy issues of national and international relevance.  TBHEC during its existence has worked with several institutions both industrially and academically. Some of the partner institutions are University of Geneva, University of Denmark, University of Botswana, Stellenbosch University, The Energy Commission, African Energy Commission (AFREC), SireaEnergie etc.

To commemorate the establishment of the centre several activities are going to be lined up throughout the year to look at the way forward in the development of the energy sector whiles relishing in the achievements chalked so far.
