The Energy Center (TEC), KNUST, under its Renewable Energy Education Project (REEP), is organizing its next series of short courses in May – June this year (2011).   These courses are part of ongoing efforts to build capacity within the West African sub-region for renewable energy project development and implementation. 

TEC is partnering with the International Institute of Water and Environmental Engineering ( l’Institut International d’Ingénierie de l’Eau et de l’Environnement – 2iE) to deliver the short courses.  The Electrical and Automatic Control Research Group (Groupe de Recherche en Electrotechnique et Automatique du Havre – GREAH) of the University of Le Havre in France is also a partner in REEP.

The upcoming training sessions are supported by the EDULINK Programme of the EU-ACP Secretariat and the World Bank, and are scheduled as outlined in the table below.

There is a 25% discount for the first 10 subscribers to each course. Female applicants are eligible for 25% discount and further support depending on need.  The fee indicated includes course manuals, snacks & lunch.
